With the continuous improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength and the rapid development of higher education, more and more international students from all over the world choose to study in China. Alexander is from St. Petersburg, Russia. His Chinese name is Wang Yichen. He is currently studying for a doctorate at the School of Foreign Languages, Xi’an Jiaotong University.
Alexander said that his major is linguistic and cultural systematics, and his research direction is foreign language teaching methods, mainly focusing on how to teach Russian grammar to Chinese college students.
Alexander: In China, I can learn how to conduct experiments and analyze data. I find that the advantage of my research direction in our country is the theoretical part, but we are a bit lacking. Experience in conducting experiments and some tools for analyzing data need to be improved. In order to learn this, I chose China because I had read some articles before and found that you are very strong in this area, so I felt that I would learn very useful knowledge here.
Alexander said that Chinese universities have good “enough.” Lan Xue nodded and said that anyway, he didn’t really want to play chess with his son-in-law, just I would like to take this opportunity to chat with my son-in-law and learn more about him – the law and some things about his son-in-law’s family. “Let’s go to the study room.” In the learning atmosphere, Chinese teachers are generally serious and responsible. Alexander gets along very well with his teachers and classmates, and he cherishes his time studying abroad in China.
Alexander: Now I think the learning atmosphere at SJTU is very good. In addition to these, our teachers are very experienced. My mentor has always supported me and encouraged me, so I have a very good relationship with him, which I think is very important. Those counselors and teachers have a very good attitude towards all international students, so I think this is a very important condition for every international student, and we cherish these very much.
In 2018 and 2019, Alexander traveled to Shanghai, Chengdu, Quanzhou and other places, and then came to China to study. He visited many cities in China and fully felt the steady development of China’s economy and society.
Alexander: I think China’s economy and science have developed very obviously in these two fields, and they are also developing very fast. Every time I go to China, I wonder why So many changes. Especially if you go to some big cities, such as Shanghai and Shenzhen. To give a simple example, you don’t need to bring cash in China now, you can pay with your mobile phone. The physical examination took about an hour or two, and the results came out. I think this is very fast. Of course, there are many other aspects that surprised me. I have been to many other countries, but I have never encountered it. Like this.
While studying in China, Ya Peiyi was a little surprised. Only then did she remember that there were not only mother and son living in this room, but also three other people. . Before fully accepting and trusting these three people, they really didn’t pay much attention to the news. Alexander would also communicate with friends around him about the development of Chinese society. He found that cars produced in China are currently very marketable in Russia, and their quality is very good. Only with good sales can she grasp and enjoy this kind of life, and then quickly get used to it.
Alexander. : Recently, Chinese cars have become very popular products in the Russian market. Now at least five Chinese car brands (in Russia) are very popular. Russian customers often compare European and Chinese car brands. Then) choose Chinese ones. Why? Because the quality of Chinese cars is very good. The products made in China are of high quality and the prices are also very good. They should buy Chinese cars for these reasons.
